This was just fucking funny. Essentially some dipshit suits ordered an anime of some manga material that was trending (and probably cheap, since it was just a couple short panels per "chapter"), and somehow along the way no one was thinking that it would be practically impossible to release softcore hentai in japanese tv. I think this was even a small scandal back then, because the some other idiots (like CR) just relicensed it. You just gotta love that no one actually checked.
